KMA Shipping is one of the companies under Kaung Myanmar Aung Group of companies popularly known as “KMA Group” in Myanmar. KMA shipping was formed in the year 2008 with the main objective of providing all shipping related services which include feeder service, shipping and crewing agencies, freight forwarding, NVOCC, chartering and logistics services in Myanmar.
SUZUE Corporation, one of the leading logistics companies in Japan, has collectively acquired over 100 years experience in multimodal transportation services, port operation, warehousing and cold storage.
KMA Shipping has Container Freight Station (CFS) project in Dagon Seikkan Area which is about 15 km away from Yangon down town ports. SUZUE Corporation Japan, being possessed of financial and technical capabilities, has expressed its’ intention to participate in the KMA’s CFS project. Therefore, KMA Shipping singed a JVA with SUZUE Corporation and established “KMA-Suzue Logistics Myanmar Limited” in September 2013 to proceed joint venture projects in Myanmar in the field of logistics, warehousing, and cold storage services.
